Operation Guide

Pre-Installation & Mounting:

 

Securely mount the chassis into a standard 19-inch equipment rack using the pre-drilled heavy-duty side brackets.

 

Ensure adequate ventilation around the front/rear cooling vents and verify grounding connection (PE lug) before wiring.

 

AC & Battery Wiring Connection:

 

Wire the 3-phase AC input lines (L1, L2, L3, N) to the incoming CHNT C63 main switch.

 

Connect external backup battery banks to the designated BAT1 and BAT2 breakers (ensure correct polarity: Positive RTN/+, Negative -48V).

 

Connect load devices to the respective BLVD (high priority) and LLVD (non-critical priority) output breakers.

 

System Startup:

 

Switch ON the AC Input main breaker.

 

Verify on the LCD control panel that the system powers up properly without active alarm LEDs.

 

Switch ON the battery breakers (BAT1, BAT2) and load distribution breakers (F1 through F12).

 

Monitoring & Network Setup:

 

Connect an RJ45 network cable to the LAN port for remote SNMP management, or connect an RS485 cable for local serial communication.

 

Configure IP address, output voltage setpoints, battery charge current limits, and alarm thresholds using the LCD front panel buttons (ESC, UP, DOWN, ENT).

 

Maintenance & Module Replacement:

 

Rectifier modules are hot-swappable; insert or remove rectifiers directly from the slots without turning off the system.

 

Use the BYPASS button/switch only during manual service bypass procedures when isolating the main controller.
