Product Description of ALU502 31U 19 Inch Telecom Cabinet
This 31U outdoor cabinet brings together the lightweight strength of aluminum and the cooling power of a 1500W DC air conditioner, making it a solid choice for sites where heat load is a primary concern. Designed for floor installation, it stands 1705mm tall with a 750×750mm footprint—compact enough for space-constrained locations yet spacious enough for 31U of standard 19" equipment.
Rated IP55, the enclosure handles dust and water jets with ease. Rain, hose-downs, or dusty construction sites won't compromise the internal environment. The RAL7035 powder-coated finish adds a layer of defense against corrosion and UV fading, keeping the cabinet functional and professional-looking over years of outdoor service.
Installation & Configuration of 31U 19 Inch Telecom Cabinet
Floor mounting is straightforward with the included 150mm plinth. The raised base serves a dual purpose: it keeps the cabinet clear of ground moisture and provides a convenient under-floor cable entry channel. All mounting hardware is included for secure anchoring.
Inside, the cabinet comes ready for equipment with two adjustable shelves and a set of 4*shaped "L" brackets. The L-bracket design provides extra clearance behind mounted units, making cable management easier and protecting fiber jumpers from tight bends. The single front door keeps the footprint compact while still allowing full access to all installed equipment.
This cabinet is widely deployed in 5G macro base stations, small cells, and micro cell sites, providing secure outdoor protection for BBU, RRU, AAU, and other core telecom equipment. The integrated 1500W DC air conditioner ensures stable operation of high-power 5G gear even during peak summer heat, preventing performance degradation or service interruptions caused by overheating.
