||
The Large-Capacity Two Compartment Outdoor Telecom Cabinet is a robust and weather-resistant enclosure designed for outdoor telecom, power backup, fiber distribution, and network equipment integration. Engineered for medium to large communication sites, this cabinet combines a spacious internal layout, strong environmental protection, and secure compartmentalized access in one integrated solution.
With a dedicated battery compartment, a standard 19-inch equipment rack section, and an independent fiber distribution compartment, this cabinet enables efficient separation of power, active equipment, and optical cabling. Its enlarged structure provides more installation space, improved thermal isolation, and easier maintenance, making it ideal for telecom operators, broadband infrastructure, smart city systems, and critical outdoor communication projects.
Large-Capacity Two-Compartment
The cabinet adopts a two-compartment structure to separate different system functions within one enclosure. The left compartment is designed for batteries or backup power devices, the middle compartment is configured for 19-inch rack-mounted telecom equipment, and the right compartment is used for fiber transmission distribution, cable routing, or auxiliary devices. This layout improves operational safety, thermal control, and maintenance efficiency.
Aluminum Double-Wall Construction
Constructed with a double-wall aluminum body, the cabinet offers strong corrosion resistance, structural durability, and reduced weight. The insulated double-wall design helps minimize solar heat gain and supports more stable internal operating conditions, especially in high-temperature outdoor installations.
IP55 Weather Protection
Designed for outdoor operation, the cabinet provides IP55 protection against dust ingress and water jets. This makes it suitable for telecom base stations, roadside communication nodes, utility infrastructure, and other exposed field applications.
Secure Independent Door Access
Each compartment is equipped with its own independent front door and three-point locking system. This design enhances access control, improves service safety, and reduces the risk of unauthorized access. Padlock support can also be provided where additional site security is required.
Flexible Cooling and Cable Management
The cabinet supports natural ventilation, fan cooling, heat exchangers, or air conditioners depending on site requirements. Bottom cable entry ports allow neat routing of power cables, signal cables, and fiber cables, helping maintain a clean and organized internal layout.

Left Compartment – Battery Section
This section is designed for backup batteries, DC power systems, or related energy storage components. By physically separating batteries from active telecom equipment, the cabinet helps reduce thermal interaction and enhances operational safety.
Right Compartment – Fiber Transmission Distribution Section
The right compartment is configured for fiber patch panels, splice trays, cable management accessories, and signal routing components. This dedicated fiber area supports cleaner cable organization and helps reduce interference between optical and power systems.
Installation Considerations
Floor-Mounted Installation for Outdoor Stability
Due to its larger size and higher capacity, this cabinet is designed for floor-mounted installation. A stable concrete base or steel platform is recommended to ensure structural safety and long-term outdoor reliability.
Proper Cooling Configuration
For high-load telecom equipment or deployments in hot climates, active cooling such as DC air conditioners or heat exchangers is recommended. For lighter-load applications, filtered ventilation or fan-assisted cooling may be sufficient depending on internal heat dissipation requirements.
Cable Routing and Compartment Separation
Bottom cable entry should be planned in advance to separate power cables, grounding cables, communication cables, and optical fibers. Proper routing improves safety, maintenance access, and long-term reliability.
