This 36U outdoor telecom cabinet is designed to provide a secure, climate-controlled enclosure for base station equipment, power systems, and battery storage in harsh outdoor environments. Featuring a durable galvanized steel construction and an integrated heat exchanger, the cabinet delivers reliable thermal management without the high energy consumption of traditional air conditioners. It is an ideal solution for 5G macro sites, edge computing nodes, and remote network hubs where protection from extreme weather and reliable cooling are critical.

Robust Construction and Environmental Protection

The cabinet structure is built from 1.2mm galvanized sheet steel and lined with 20mm PEF (Polyethylene Foam) insulation. This double-layer construction effectively reduces heat transfer from solar radiation while protecting internal components from external temperature fluctuations. Rated at IP55, the enclosure is highly resistant to dust ingress and low-pressure water jets, ensuring equipment remains operational during heavy rain, sandstorms, and high-humidity conditions. The exterior is finished in a standard RAL7035 powder coating, offering excellent corrosion and UV resistance.

Advanced Thermal Management

Effective heat dissipation is essential for maintaining the lifespan of sensitive telecom equipment. This cabinet utilizes an integrated 180W/K heat exchanger combined with four 12038 cooling fans managed by a smart temperature controller.

The heat exchanger uses the temperature differential between the internal cabinet air and the cooler external ambient air to dissipate heat passively, consuming significantly less power than a compressor-based air conditioner. The four fans operate in coordination with the controller, automatically adjusting speed based on real-time internal temperatures to optimize cooling efficiency and reduce noise. The ventilation airflow is designed from the bottom to the top of the cabinet, ensuring even heat distribution and preventing hot spots.

Internal Layout and Cable Management

The cabinet offers 36U of standard 19-inch rack space, equipped with seven adjustable L-brackets to support a wide variety of telecom equipment, rectifier systems, and battery shelves.

Installation and maintenance are simplified through a practical structural design. The cabinet features a 150mm plinth, providing a stable base and elevating the enclosure away from ground moisture. All cabling—both power and transmission—is routed in and out from the bottom of the cabinet, protecting cable entries from water ingress while keeping the front access clean and organized. The single front door is secured by a three-point anti-theft locking mechanism, ensuring site security and preventing unauthorized access.
