The 1U Ultra-Compact Embedded Telecom Power System is a space-saving, high-density DC power distribution subrack specially designed for space-constrained network installations. Measuring just 1U in height, this system provides robust -48V DC power conversion, battery backup connectivity, and comprehensive load distribution for edge network devices.

 

Equipped with pluggable AC surge protection (SPD), 3 independent DC output channels (Output 1, 2, 3), a dedicated battery terminal (BAT), and an extensive array of environmental and telemetry interfaces (RS485, multi-channel DI/DO dry contacts, temperature and humidity sensors), this unit guarantees ultimate reliability and intelligent monitoring for decentralized telecom and IT operations.

Operation Guide

Subrack Installation:

 

Mount the 1U chassis into a standard 19-inch cabinet using the adjustable side-mounting brackets.

 

Connect a dedicated protective earth wire to the main chassis grounding point prior to powering the unit.

 

Power & Load Wiring:

 

Insert and secure the main AC power line into the labeled AC Input port.

 

Wire the battery bank to the BAT (+ / -) screw terminals, paying strict attention to polarity.

 

Connect DC equipment loads to Output+ 1/2/3 and Output- 1/2/3.

 

Sensor & Alarm Connections:

 

Connect external temperature probes to the TEMP BAT1/BAT2/BAT3 pins and position them on the battery casing.

 

Connect door sensors, water leakage detectors, or smoke alarms to the DI (Digital Input) terminals, and link system fault outputs to the DO dry contact relay terminals.

 

Connect RS485 communication cables (1+, 1- / 2+, 2-) to the central management unit for remote telemetry reporting.

 

Power-On & SPD Verification:

 

Switch on primary AC supply; verify the AC SPD

 

Check DC output terminal voltages using a digital multimeter to confirm stable output before turning on connected loads.
