Product Overview of Modular Rectifier System
The upgradable 18kW rectifier system is developed for carrier-grade reliability and high-density power delivery and to provide stable AC and DC power distribution for telecommunications central offices, medium-to-large data centers, and a range of harsh environments. The system accepts 220V AC single-phase input and provides a tightly regulated DC output adjustable between –43V and –58V, typically set at –53.5V.
Simultaneously, it delivers a 220V 16A AC output with Class C surge protection. With a maximum output capacity of 18kW and conversion efficiencies exceeding 96% across most of its load range, the system significantly cuts both energy consumption and the associated cooling requirements.
Engineered for uninterrupted operation, the unit supports up to six hot-swappable 3000W rectifier modules, enabling N+1 or higher redundancy. Each module weighs less than 2kg and features forced-air cooling, active Power Factor Correction (≥0.99), and low Total Harmonic Distortion (THDi ≤5%) to ensure clean grid interaction and stable output. All components are housed in a 5U, 19-inch rack-mountable chassis with an IP20 rating. Front-access hot-swap capability simplifies maintenance, while rear-mounted copper busbars offer a low-impedance, high-current connection path.
The integrated DC distribution includes both low-voltage load disconnect (LLVD) and battery low-voltage disconnect (BLVD), allowing prioritized load shedding to safeguard critical battery reserves during power outages. An advanced system controller provides comprehensive monitoring and programmable logic through analog inputs (AI), digital inputs (DI), and digital outputs (DO). Remote management is supported via RS485 and SNMP interfaces, giving operators full visibility into alarms, performance metrics, and rectifier status. A front-panel LCD also enables convenient on-site configuration and diagnostics.
