Power Core for Data Center for up to 1000A DC Power Supply
1. Overview
ESTEL’s 1000A Power Core is a high capacity DC power core specially designed for telecom rooms and data centers applications, it converts 220VAC single-phase or 380VAC three-phase AC power into high quality DC power for supplying power to telecom and IT equipment.

3. Compositions & Features
This 1000A power core is mainly consist of smart power controller, high-quality rectifier modules, circuit breakers and SPD devices for AC input power and DC output circuit.
1)Power Core Subrack or Power Core Cabinet:
The 1000A Power Core system can either be built in a 19’’ rack mountable subrack or in a cabinet with 19’’ racks. It depends on client’s requirements for the power capacity and installation space. It is manufactured as an assembly subrack or cabinet, with all the power controller, rectifier modules slots, power distribution breakers and SPD integrated inside.
2) Smart power controller:
It has a LCD screen for displaying the power system operation info and local parameter setting, it not only support parameter read and writing, but also support parameter upload and download. It provides local monitoring and control function via Web browser, and it supports SNMP for remote monitoring and control function.

3) Rectifier module:
Rectifier modules converter AC power into high quality DC power, they are hot-swappable. Base on client’s different requirements for total current capacity, AC to DC conversion efficiency, budget range, power load quantity and specification, etc., different number of modules, and different model of modules will be used. All the module inside is configured with fan for forced air cooling.

4) AC input breakers & SPD:
Different brands of breakers are available. And all the breakers are configured based on the features of client’s input power types and requirements. ESTEL will recommend commonly used SPD configuration, client’s specially requirement is also supported.
5) DC output breakers & SPD:
DC output breakers and SPD configuration is based on client’s needs, will need information about totally how many power consumption equipment, and what is the power of each consumption equipment, should spare how many breakers for future purpose, etc. All these are negotiable.
6) Others:
Battery breakers, bypass, service outlets, etc. all can be included in the power core system based on client’s needs.
